Club History
A group of motorcyclists, all members of 12 step programs, met in January of 1999 to discuss the formation of a "Clean and Sober" Motorcycle club serving the Mother Lode region of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
The 13 attending the meeting live near a 60 mile stretch of Highway 49, many of whom had never before met, but all had common friends present.
On March 28th, 1999, after much discussion and many Barbeques, we signed a Charter creating the Messengers M/C, Central Sierra Chapter.
We put on the first annual Frog Jump Run at Tuttletown, California, in May of 2000, and have been having fun and helping others, while our membership grows.
Please join us in May for the next run, and we have monthly BBQ's on the first Sunday of every month.
